In July 2026, Courteous Canine expanded our South County training program to our new location at 1055 East Main Road Portsmouth RI. We are now serving Aquidneck Island! Train closer to home with the same science-based, relationship-focused instruction Courteous Canines is known for. Whether you're raising a new puppy, working through behavior challenges, preparing for therapy dog work, or simply building better manners, our classes at The Island Bark Spot make expert training convenient, supportive, and fun for you and your dog. Clients will have access to top notch products in the store.

Parking is available alongside the building. .

Our training space is fully matted with air conditioning / heat.

Clients will enter thru the side door.

Space is available on the side of the parking lot for your dog to relieve themselves. Please use the receptacle to dispose of any waste.
